Saturday Morning: Room 207 and outside the dorms

Charlie stretched and rolled over to snuggle closer to Jack before remembering that she'd come back to Fandom on her own for the reunion since Jack had had some Dragon Prince things come up that he had to deal with. Ah well, she'd see him soon enough. She opened her eyes slowly, luxuriating in the extra comfortable - wait.

She sat up abruptly. This was not the comfortable bed she'd fallen asleep in. Nor was it the hotel room she'd fallen asleep in. In fact... yep, this was her old dorm room looking a lot like it had her sophomore or junior year of high school. Oh, Fandom!

It only took her a moment to throw on some clothes, grab her (old) guitar, and make her way outside to some trees where she slipped into the Wood and listened for Jack's song. Which wasn't there. Heart-pounding, she reached for Allie's and found it easily, letitng out a sigh of relief. Of course she wouldn't hear Jack's unless she...

She reached out, mentally searching forward in time till she caught the sound of him, then relaxed and let it go. All right, well, this was Fandom after all. Give it the weekend or a week at most and she'd be back where she belonged. In the meantime she'd enjoy her stay here.

This was Charlie after all.

Wandering and Ramen

Charlie was ready and raring to go well before noon. She'd talked to the server at the ramen place and had a plan ready and she had an idea of places they might check out in DC, but mostly she was a play it by ear kind of gal (Gale?).

Her guitar was with her, of course, maybe they'd do a little busking in the subway, or maybe they'd find a nice quiet place for her to play. Who knew?

Now she just had to wait for Graham.

My about to be a Townie

Short Version:

* Nell's going home to live through the next almost nine years of her canon and will be returning an almost 28 year old widowed woman. She's going back to the moment she left, which will leave her wondering just how old she is, since back home they'll think she's four years younger.

* She was married at 12 and widowed before she was 19.

* Raised in east Tennessee in what was effectively a cult, called the God's Cloud of Glory church.

* Waist length straight brown hair, generally wears skirts at least calf length with boots or leggings to cover all that skin with, and concealing shirts/sweaters or some type of t-shirt with overalls and work boots, though all this will be loosening up somewhat when she returns.

* Slight, but wiry, and muscular in a way that comes from hard physical labor. She is tiny, but fierce.

* Can communicate with and control the land and those things growing on it.
